AMES organized Project Counselling for First Year Students

A Project Counseling program was organized for the students of first year in Mechanical Engineering, by Association of Mechanical Engineering Students on 11th April 2018. In this event, the students were given an overview of conducting their semester and yearly projects.

The presentation was delivered by Ashesh Shrestha (3rd year ME I), Abhar Bhattarai (3rd year ME II), Bibek Gautam (3rd year ME II), and Utsarga Lamichhane (3rd year ME II) and covered all related topics—idea genesis, design and development, presentation and demonstration, reimbursement and preparation for Aviyantaa. The presentation focused especially on proposal report preparation.

The event was conducted to make sure that the new students enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Kathmandu University will not have to get confused at any point of conducting their academic projects. The event was conducted in Turbine Testing Lab Hall which has a capacity of 100 students. The number of students to attend the event was never expected to cross the number seat. However the reach of number of students to about 115 declared the event to be of grand success. The feedback taken from the students seemed that the session was fruitful.
